Molly C. Meng is a self-taught artist whose work begins with what others leave behind — vintage paper, discarded photographs, old ledgers, forgotten books. Through collage, textiles, and mixed media, she transforms these materials into objects that carry new meaning.
Over nearly three decades, she has moved through distinct creative chapters in New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and now New Hampshire's Seacoast — exhibiting in galleries and museums, teaching workshops, and building creative communities wherever she lands.
Today, all of those threads come together on the Seacoast: she makes, teaches, shows, and tells stories — often in the same week.
An entirely new body of work created for the Players' Ring, inspired by the history of Portsmouth's Puddle Dock neighborhood and the Strawbery Banke area.
